You can head to The Oaks Shopping Center, which is a spacious location with open-air and enclosed space across two levels of shops. This is an upscale shopping location that has more than 180 shops. Shoppes at Westlake Village is a popular shopping location, as well, with dozens of stores along with cafés and restaurants. From boutiques to large, well-known shops, there are plenty of places to shop in the area. Luxury offerings are always just around the corner in these communities, and there is something for everyone.
A Haven for Celebrities
Although you might think that celebrities only live right around the Los Angeles area, many have or have owned properties located in the Conejo Valley area. A few of the celebrities who call the area home or who have in the past include Will Smith, Jaime Fox, The Rock, Britney Spears, and Ozzy Osbourne. YouTuber Jake Paul recently listed his Calabasas mansion for $7 million. Adrienne Houghton put her home up for sale for $3.3 million in December 2020, less than a year after she bought the place.
When you buy a home in the area, you might just have a celebrity as a neighbor, or at least a celebrity run-in when you are dining, golfing, or hiking in the area.
